Finally a high-quality hostel to stay at in Malta – mainly because of the proper curtains around the beds and the lockable box for my belongings (quite spacious, but not tall enough to fit a suitcase I think). My stay started off a bit uncomfortable due to a very disrespectful young woman in the large dorm I was initially supposed to stay in. However, the staff kindly moved me to a 6-bed dorm, where I had an amazing stay and met some really nice people <3 The location is great if you want to stay in a central area, close to buses, restaurants, and the sea, and only a 20-minute walk plus a 5-minute ferry ride to Valletta. At the same time, the hostel has a very respectful and quiet vibe. It did not seem like a party hostel – a big plus! The guest were a mix of all ages and nationalities, which also made it feel much less like a messy youth-hostel (at least at this time of year - april) There are also lots of areas to hang out, eat, and socialize, all nicely decorated. The kitchen seemed easy to use, and several people were cooking proper meals (although the fridges were quite full). The staff were kind and helpful, and the breakfast was basic but good – nice to have something to eat before heading out for the day :) The room felt like a reasonable size for six people, and the curtains were excellent, making it easy to sleep undisturbed. It was also fairly easy to get up to the top bunk, thanks to the bed design. And there was a power outlet by my top bunk. After previously living in Malta for several years, and also staying in various hotels around the islands, I must say this is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in in Malta! (And very I'm picky with beds, since they are much softer back home in Sweden than in Malta). I will definitely come back, and I also hope that more hostels in Malta follow this perfect example of how to design and run a hostel!

Individuality and authenticity! Never stayed at a party hostel before and it’s so much fun!!! Cleaning very often, the personnel is always polite and helpful. The location is 10/10 for partying people. The mixed dorm was so fun! The price is very good 👍
