I absolutely loved it. Everything about my stay was enjoyable - my favourite place I stayed in the Netherlands! The location was so close to the center and just a stone’s away from the cheese market (the reason I went to Alkmaar), the room was private and super clean, and the staff was all friendliness and welcoming. I loved being able to sit in the middle of the hotel and get to know other guests as well!

Staff were accommodating when asking for a snack from reception after the cafe area closed, allowing us to pay the morning after. Housecleaning staff offer a small treat for those who don't want their room cleaned. The hostel was in a very nice area. Felt quite safe walking around at night. Lots of stuff around the hostel to do and the train station was a 10 minute walk.FinnYoung couple
