  • The 10 Best Hostels in Istanbul, Turkey

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Hotels That Guests Love in Istanbul
  • The best spot to take picture of Blue Mosque at the roof top. The view is breathtaking and clearly can see a Bosporus strait. The hotel is quite good. The location is easy to find (but first we arrived we have to ask peoples around). Its really comfortable hostel to stay for backpackers like me and my friends.

  • This is my second time in Backpackers. A great place to stay in Istanbul. The staff if very nice, the beds are comfortable and clean. The location couldn't be better, because it's very close to touristic places but it's not in a touristic place, so you can find cheap markets, restaurants and bars where you can buy food, have breakfast and dinner for excellent prices, just 2 min far from the hostel. Thanks to the staff for the great time. Hope to see you soon again.

  • Located in a cozy and popular area where young locals hang out at. Puffin is a lovely designed backpacker hostel. Very cozy terrace and comfortable beds with curtain. It is close to everything- ferry stop, tram station, long-haul bus sales office and a lot of cafe and bars.

  • The hostel had nice vibes very chill. I Stayed in a dorm room, it is convenient for backpackers and students plus safe (there's lockers, rent a lock or just bring one). Clean and neat rooms. Great staff! Offers help with a smile :) The room had a balcony and the washrooms were clean. There's a kitchen, laundry room, garden, terrace... easy to get to from the SAW airport (take a taxi or E10/11 bus). Wish I had stayed longer.
