Everything was so good, the owner was such a sweet person, the staff are so helpful snd kind, they welcome us with a refreshing Karkadee. The room was so clean and comfortable with an amazing view.

In a region not renowned for backpacking, the owner of this hostel has managed to produce a diamond. The place has a real homely feel , largely thanks to the hostel guests, and the bed spaces are amongst the best I’ve experienced in 200+ hostel stays. Mattress and bedding extremely comfortable. Very spacious. Personal light and sockets. Easy access ladder to top bunk and privacy curtain. Nothing has been omitted.

The guesthouse is located on the beautiful elephatine island. A peaceful and quiet oasis. It is very easy to get to the island as Omar picked us up from the public ferry with his boat. We took the public ferry only once, and it was easy and very cheap (15LE). Kashta is a very charming guesthouse. It is calm, clean, and cozy. The bed and the pillows are very comfortable and there is a lovely terrace on the roof top where we ate our very tasty breakfast cooked by Omar and to simply relax. There is free Wi-Fi that works perfectly all around the guesthouse. Omar is an exceptionally friendly, honest, and respectful manager. He always took the time to sit down and answer any questions we had and made sure we felt happy and comfortable. He is genuinely a good man who goes out of his way to make our stay special. He even got up at 2am to drive us in his boat to the main land, with a packed breakfast, where we met our friendly and safe driver for our journey to Abu Simbel, which Omar kindly organized for us. Omar also helped us with our time at the island/Aswan, including organizing a night journey to Abu Simbel, faluka ride, Botanical Garden, etc. We couldn't be happier, and we would absolutely go back to Kashta when we will return in Egypt. Thank you very much, Omar!

Ahmed, the manager is very humble and pleasant. The staff is amazing and the whole ambience is very warm and hospitable Room had a great view and food was good.Ahmed and Sallah arranged trips for us and was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place.Great value for money and a unique experience.

Nubian Hights guesthouse ligger i Ash Shallāl, 19 km från Aga Khan Mausoleum och 4,3 km från Nubiska museet, och erbjuder rum med luftkonditionering och eget badrum. During our two-day stay, we had dinner outside on the first day and ordered food from Fatma on the second day. After tasting her food, we instantly regretted not trying her cooking sooner! She has become one of our favourite cooks now. She is very kind, honest, well-educated, and always helpful, answering every question quickly. Her newly built guest house is very clean and cozy. The balcony offers an outstanding view of the Nile River and the city. We would 100% recommend this place and would love to return for Fatma’s delicious homemade food and the excellent quality of service.

I really enjoyed the calm and friendly atmosphere at The Villa Hostel. The staff were very welcoming, helpful, and always available whenever I needed anything. The common areas were clean, organized, and comfortable, and the beds were private with good curtains. The location is excellent—quiet, safe, and close to everything in Abu Dhabi. It felt like a very homely place to relax after a busy day.
