I felt like home and staying with my family. Ines and Fernando were so helpful that I didn’t feel like I was staying in a hostel. I am very thankful for their support and caring. In Argentina, many hostels attempt to deceive tourists by applying an exchange rate that's far higher than a current rate to earn more money in peso terms. Basically a rip off. But as I recall, this hostel was one of the few that didn't do it to me and I really appreciate it because I know how rare it is especially in Argentina. And I am saying this after having traveled from south to north of the country. Breakfast presentation (display of the food) was cute, too. They also served a bit of freshly squeezed orange juice, just a little bit in portion, but again, it's super rare to find a hostel that does this in Argentina.

Situated in Tilcara, 27 km from The Hill of Seven Colors, Hostal La Albahaca features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The people at the reception are super nice and friendly. Jhoolia who knew English helped me a lot without directions and what to do in the region. Also, the location is pretty close to the bus station/main bulevard of the village. The house is spacious and you have a terrace and yard where you can spend time.

Postales del Tiempo features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Tilcara. The patio was beautiful, the staff were all very nice and ready to help with recommendations and advice on what to do in the area. Bedroom was very clean
