Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, Travellers Paradise offers accommodation in a historical, heritage listed building in Cairns, 1.2 km from Cairns Convention Centre. My stay was exceptional, on all levels. Peter was friendly and more than accommodating, the place was spotless clean, and I very much appreciated the upgraded room, If you're thinking of staying here, it comes with my highest of recommendation.

YHA Cairns Central is located just 5 minutes' walk from The Esplanade and Trinity Wharf. It features an outdoor swimming pool, 2 spas, and a free WiFi hotspot. I loved the atmosphere of the hostel, everyone was so nice (people working there and people staying there too) and there is some good activities for the nights in !

At Mad Monkey Waterfront we offer an affordable and clean accommodation in the heart of Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. I’ve stayed in so many hostels in Cairns and this one was definitely my favorite. Very nice atmosphere and people. The common areas are very comfy and always clean. The staff was very friendly. I absolutely recommend this place!

Dreamtime is an award winning hostel with a difference. We offer travellers a safe, peaceful & cosy place to stay. We are not a party hostel. This was a fantastic hostel. Communication was great before we arrived and they even allowed an early baggage drop and check in. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We really appreciated having a fridge in our room. Shared bath and shower were in high demand but we were able to access one within a few minutes. The kitchens were well stocked and there were lots of lovely places to hang out. WiFi worked well. The location right by the train station and within about 15-20 minutes from the pier and downtown was perfect for us. Highly recommended!
