Landing Pads Brunswick in Melbourne provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. I originally booked for 1 week…ended up staying over a month. It’s an older house with some cosmetic issues, but the homey feel and people made it hard to leave. It is a working hostel, so it was nice that they hosted a job seeker workshop to give some insight into what the Aussies are looking for. Made some amazing friends who were had the same relative goals and not party 24/7. Love the family dinner night and programming. Shout out to Arnie and his amazing spa night that was 1000% needed. The staff were cleaning warriors and Amanda has a killer work setlist.

Surrounded by shops and eateries, this hostel is right in the middle of Elizabeth street and Queen Victoria Market where great bars, shops are restaurants within 1 minute walking distance. Friendly staffs, very clean and comfortable bed. Beside to a Halal restaurant.

Located in the heart of St Kilda, just a few minutes' walk from the beach, a range of restaurants and shops. Tram stops are located at the door step, so you can conveniently get to and from the CBD. What a gorgeous hostel in a beautiful building, they even have a little café at the entry! Staff was so cheery and friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. Do recommend!

Space Hotel features a rooftop terrace, fully equipped fitness centre and a private cinema room. Some rooms have a private bathroom, and flat-screen TV. The rooms is clean. Decent size toilet. Easy checkin and checkout. Very nice hotel. I would stay here again.

Given upgrade to King Room, ground floor when booking in, due to mobility issues. I had forgotten to mention this when booking. Apollo Bay Backpackers is located in Apollo Bay, 1 km from Apollo Bay, and provides free WiFi. The staff at Apollo bay was wonderful. Taylor was great and made all the guests feel welcome and included in group activities! She deserves higher pay!

Set in Port Fairy, 600 metres from Port Fairy East Beach, The Wandering Whale Port Fairy offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Beautiful town. The hostel is an old gorgeous home with wonderful decorations throughout. Felt comfortable. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, big kitchen.
