From walking into the building, we felt welcome and looked after. We received customised bags with a drinks voucher, a handwritten welcome message and more assorted items. The room was surprisingly spacious with everything we needed. Enough plug points, plentiful light and a very welcome balcony. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Upon checking out, we were able to leave our bags there for the day until our train left. The street outside our window and balcony was very busy until about 23:00, when everything went quiet. This was in Chrismas time, when the markets were going and people were out in droves.

I was a little scared to book at first because of how the pictures looked, but it was actually amazing. The rooms were huge and bright! The decor was so unique and interesting to look at. it also felt really clean and it wasn’t so small you’re always looking at the other person!

Sleep Well Youth Hostel benefits from a central location in historical Brussels, a 13-minute walk from the Grand Place and Manneken Pis and 150 metres from a shopping district. Perfect location, lovely staff and a great hostel! I was traveling by myself and felt safe during my stay.
