In the heart of Morro de São Paulo village, Che Lagarto hostel offers bright rooms and colourful facilities near beaches, shops and restaurants. Accommodation includes free WiFi. It’s my second time to stay there, I love this place, always very clean, love the staff they are always extra helpful, the private room was spacious, had a TV & a clean bathroom. It’s great for solo travelers

The design is magnificent and unique, super clean, many spaces to enjoy your time or work on your computer, lovely pool area, dining area and super equipped kitchen, the room is top! Cost value ratio is outstanding! Lili the owner is a warm welcoming person and does anything in her power to make your stay optimal, she even waited for me where the boat-bus arrives with her car to pick me up to the hostel. I have very particular restrictions with food and all are met in breakfasts, that's really nice. Also, Gamboa is a great place for a vacation or digital nomading, so calm with great beaches. Super recommended!

This is an beautiful hostel. Flavia the lady that is running it at the moment is such a beautiful woman with a kind heart. She keeps the place in such good shape it was always very clean and comfortable. It has a wonderful terrace with a view of the tree tops. It’s a little bit outside of the village but only by five/ten minutes - something which I really appreciated to be honest. There is a lovely friendly cat, and the cooking facilities are great and spacious. The mattresses are good and the Wi-Fi too.

Located inside a natural reserve, Universo Pol Bamboo Hostel offers accommodation in Morro de São Paulo. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Some units include a seating area to relax. Probably one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in! It looks amazing, the beds are comfy, the vibes in the middle of the forest are insane. I really enjoyed going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of nature. And the breakfast was beyond delicious! Everything was vegan and prepared in the hostel daily by an amazing chef. The staff is absolutely amazing and always very helpful. Incredible vibe, with nice common areas and instruments for spontaneous jam sessions😊
