Situated in Basel and with Messe Basel reachable within 1.2 km, Silo Design & Boutique Hostel Basel features express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a living room, free WiFi throughout the... As an architect, I couldn't wait to stay here, and it was a real pleasure to experience and observe all the thoughtful details invested in this hostel. The design is both inspiring and well executed, with a strong attention to materials and atmosphere. The overall concept truly stands out. On top of that, the breakfast was beyond my expectations — fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates architecture, design, and a carefully curated experience.🤍

Este albergue de diseño está situado muy cerca de la orilla del río Rin, junto a la puerta de la antigua ciudad de St. Alban. The staff was so caring and they were helpfull about everything. The breakfast was too amazing with the open buffet concept and beds were too comfy. Also they are willing to help even before the staying process from the chat on booking. Definitely worth all of you will going to spend.

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. Personally I was gonna give 7/10 for overall but I’ve experienced capsule & bunk beds hostels around Europe, I must say Hyve is THE BEST. - Location: 7 minutes walk to SBB station - Support: No 24/7 receptionist but they’re always active on Whatsapp, 3-5s of response no matter when it is - Facility & infrastructure: Super clean, well organized, spatial room, even the kitchen is fully equipped - My favorite: I can’t live without daily cold drinks and the staff would always offer me free ice at the bar. As well as the mutual “working space” is awesome, you can chill/work/eat like a sofa cafe - MOST IMPORTANTLY: Towel is automatically changed everyday and there is a shower gel. I can choose to leave my luggage after check-out for free at the storage room (if I don’t wanna pay for a locker). Plus, got offered a free transportation ticket that also offer discounts for museums/other activities (I don’t remember). Simultaneously, whoever designed this hostel must be a genius because the smoking area is right next to the kitchen so I can leave my food there when it’s cooking and go out, take a cig, come back easily without having to exit the property. Sounds like bare minimum but trust me, with this price, in Switzerland, I should give Hyve 10/10. Must be through sh!ts to appreciate what I have 🥹 Hence, Hyve is the cheapest yet the best quality.

El Basel Backpack se encuentra en una antigua fábrica reformada, a sólo 10 minutos de la principal estación de tren de Basilea. The staff was very friendly, The breakfast was very tiny, but the bread was so good that it was enough with just butter. The room had a separate entrance. This was nice. The shower was comfortable. Everything was clean.

Llegué antes del check in y la propietaria me dió las llaves de otro apartamento para que pudiera dejar las cosas. Cuando llegué de vuelta le dije que mi habitación estaba fría y me cambió a una mucho más caliente. Además la cama era comodísima.

This room was impeccably clean and very easy to access. I expected to be in a dark,barely supportable room with dirty corners and a dirty bathroom. How amazed I was to find a super clean room, kitchen and bedroom. Good job!
