Loved this place so much that the next time I stay here I want to make a point of staying here. Great location, right in between both train stations, close to food and restaurants was quite clean, kitchen area was very well equipped and great common area. Breakfast in the morning was good as well and staff were very helpful.

The house is very cozy, comfortable and it is very close to the pier. The host is very friendly and he helped us a lot. If we have the opportunity to return to Interlaken, we would love to stay at Walters hostel again. Highly recommend everyone to choose this location as a place to rest.

Come to Balmers and stay in the oldest private hostel in Switzerland! Our hostel is situated in three traditional Swiss wooden chalets that surround a courtyard, terras and garden. The vibe, the coziness of the place, and the people! The staff Ori and Luka were the best. It's very easy to meet people and make real connections there. Lots of fun activities organized to interact with the other guests. the place was also very clean and there's a big kitchen which makes it easy to cook instead of eating out.

Very tidy and comfortable. Everyday we had fresh towels and water. The bad was made up everyday as well. The WC was cleaned and refreshed daily. Service was exceptional! It is all in attention to small details. My husband got a lot of care from the staff on his birthday. But even besides this occasion they were very very friendly!
