Set in Martigny-Ville, within 44 km of Train station Montreux and 37 km of Mont Fort, Martigny Youth Hostel provides free WiFi throughout the property. Very friendly and helpful staff and clear instructions about what was wanted in the morning. The breakfast was great and it was spotless. Also close to night life and cafes. Wonderful place to stay.

Aktivhostel HängeMatt features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Matt. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Everything. All the reviews about this accomodation are true. To provide a more unique piece of comment, when I arrived late, tired and outside of incheck hours, I found the bedsheets presented neatly inside-out. In case we are not familiair with how to make up a bed the easiest way, take the sheets inside-out and shake like crazy. I was tired and I was positively speechless (if I was talking). Never made a bed up so easily in my life, for real. On a more personal experience, Matt really gave me the “Swiss” feeling that other, more touristy places, failed me to provide. I felt comfortable and like at home in the area, but then in Switzerland. I will definitely come back here, to climb the mountain across Matt. I did not have the time for it sadly. Also, ja, Florian, cool dude. The reviews about the host does him right. (Also you get free public transport btw, in the Kanton)

Boasting a bar and views of mountain, Schutzenbach Backpackers For Adults 18-34 years only is situated in Lauterbrunnen, 16 km from Grindelwald Terminal. The host were kind and approachable. Clarified all our doubts and gave very helpful informations. Would love to visit again before I turn 35 :)
