What an amazing place to stay! The staff are so helpful and friendly and advise on best places to eat/see. The location is great as well and near a metro station. Free bread, water, tea, coffee and ice cream! The social area upstairs was a great place (incl. massage chair) to meet other travellers. The facilities are simple but clean and I highly recommend staying here!

Conveniently situated in Chongqing, 吃山文化青年旅店 provides air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. I loved the style of the hostel and the room was big, also big lockers to put your stuff. Of course the cute cats are a nice bonus.

The location was excellent .. steps from subway and many tourist attractions. The best part of staying here was the staff . They were excellent . The day manager gave me $10Y because I did not have cash . Rose was so patient and helpful and would arrange for my taxi. Available always, she game me her cell # if I needed anything. They go out of their way in making your stay in Chongqing very pleasant . Highly recommend. Will stay again. I will miss them.

Featuring a garden, a terrace as well as a bar, Chongqing Houlai Rooftop Terrace Youth Hostel候来屋顶露台青年旅舍 is located in the centre of Chongqing, 1.8 km from Chaotianmen Square. The person managing it was the nicest, stated up really late to check me in. I stayed one night in a tent and I think it’s the coolest thing ever. The bathroom isn’t really nice but like the stay is really worth it. Really cool experience
