Situated conveniently in the centre of Chongqing, Chongqing Desti Youth Park Hostel Liberation Monument offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a bar. All the staff was very thoughtful and spoke English, which is great for foreign travelers. All the facilities were very clean and the lobby offered a lot of activities.

Ideally located in Chongqing, 弱水咖啡国际青旅 Only Cafe and Backpacker offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. - The location couldn’t be better, just some minutes walk to Jiefangbei pedestrian street and to the subway, with so many restaurants and markets around. - Hostel is situated on the top floor of the building (31st floor) with a rooftop offering an amazing view over the city at night. - Clean equipment, nice common area, nice balcony. - Owners and staff are very friendly. The owner is also really helpful when it comes to suggestions about the city etc.

The view of the city was so cool. The staff are so helpful and friendly and speak English. The location couldn’t be better. Great wifi. The rooftop courtyard garden area is so cool. Wanted to stay longer!

In a prime location in the centre of Chongqing, Smiley's Long Time No See Hostel offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a bar. I liked that there were cats and beds were so comfy. Everyone was friendly when we were playing with the cats and met some other people. The property is directly outside exit 3 of the metro so super convenient (had to input “Crown Mansion” on AMap to find it). The metro line it was on also had most of the touristy hotspots in Chongqing along it making it super easy to get around. Loved the concept of the room - Tatami movie room

Riverside International Youth Hostel阅江老院青年旅舍 has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Chongqing. A professional, clean and well ran basic hostel. It is Not trying to be everything to everyone. Its stated aim is to offer the basics to travellers and some Chinese workers and students at a low cost. The little sleeping pods are great with their own power sockets and light plus the privacy curtain. The showers and bathroom areas are good and clean and the common room is very large with huge opening windows. The logistics to navigate around Chongching might be a bit of an issue for some people. But if you take your time and use key orientation points and the metro then anyone should be fine. All the staff at the hostel offered a contact telephone number just in case you got totally lost and disoriented and there's always Didi taxis to fall back on. Do Not expect anything flashy. It does the very basics very well. The hostel is very laid back, it has good security, free large lockers and cold 660ml beers for 6¥ I have travelled for over 40 years and stayed in many many hostels and I would recommend this place to Any real traveller who wants to keep their costs low. The location is Superb and there are many local family ran food businesses and supermarkets all over the area. Approx a 12-15 min walk to the centre of time square.

Featuring a garden, a terrace as well as a bar, Chongqing Houlai Rooftop Terrace Youth Hostel候来屋顶露台青年旅舍 is located in the centre of Chongqing, 1.8 km from Chaotianmen Square. The person managing it was the nicest, stated up really late to check me in. I stayed one night in a tent and I think it’s the coolest thing ever. The bathroom isn’t really nice but like the stay is really worth it. Really cool experience
