张家界集结号公馆 Zhangjiajie Jijiehao Inn Avator Mountin-National Park-East Gate, Meeting Friends-Common Area-Poor teble-COFFEE-BEER-Laundry-Party, FREE Breakfast, Book tickets in advance, Chinese... Amazing family who runs the hotel. Great for both solo travel (me this trip) and party of 2+. The younger matriarch is so kind and her English is great. The older matriarch was lovely too, she made great breakfast for me all 4 days I stayed. The patriarch was so helpful, from recommending my friend who I just met and I, and showing us what sites to go to and how to navigate around Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The place is 30 minute walk and 7 min drive from the park's east gate entrance. I love how he strike conversations with everyone–we used translate to have a Chinese-English conversation and got to know more about him. He smiles every time you enter. The people who stay at this hotel are so kind as well. First night here I got to have a family style meal for the first time in China. Will definitely book again when I go back to Wulingyuan with my friends/family.

The best Desti “背包十年” that I stayed at in China. More social than other Desti hostels. Staff was really friendly and actually joined me for a run. I had a really great experience here! 😁
