Only a 5-minute walk from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Destination Youth Hostel features private guest rooms and simple dormitory rooms with free Wi-Fi. It offers a tour desk, a library, a games room, a shared kitchen and convenient guest services. Perfect location, ridiculously close to the Zhiangjiaje park entrance. Pharmacies and food stalls very near. Ralph was super helpful and explained everything in detail, from how to get to Tianmen mountain, to arranging transportation. The room was big, with everything you may need: comfy beds, electric kettle and complementary bottles of water. A BIG PLUS for me: the noise cancelling windows. The bathroom was spotless and toiletries were provided. Keep in mind it is common for showers here not to have curtains or separate spaces. Water pressure and temperature was perfect - excellent after a 12-hour-walking day. I would absolutely come back to this hotel. Amazing.

This level of thoughtful service is rare and deeply appreciated. It felt less like a standard hotel transaction and more like being a guest in a caring home. The team's proactive and sincere care was the highlight of my trip. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning.
