Everything is first class but the ladies up front are the brightest, friendliest, happiest front desk staff anywhere in the world of hostels! They make the entire vibe of the hostel a wonderful place to be. The rooms are indeed cozy, two to a room, private hi-tech bathroom with plenty of press and hot water. And, a Japanese toilet! I sleep so well here. The location is perfect as it is only one block from the Suzhou River which winds its way to the Bund. Four blocks from Nanjing East rd which is the major walking/shopping street and the entrance to the metro. One street away is Ningbo st which has dozens of cheap, delicious restaurants, shops and fresh fruit markets. Wifi is strong throughout the hostel and plenty of outlets to charge your toys. A large community room to meet others and eat your food. A large terrace to hang out, as well.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hostel in Shanghai! First of all, a huge thank to QiuQiu, who was incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived. She made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The location is super convenient, close to public transport, which made exploring the city a breeze. The entire place was clean, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The rest of the staff, especially May and Tao, were also amazing! May was always cheerful and offered fantastic recommendations for local spots, while Tao was incredibly helpful and attentive. Their genuine warmth and hospitality truly made me feel at home. If you're looking for a clean, convenient, and friendly place to stay in Shanghai, this hostel is the perfect choice! I can't wait to come back!

Shanghai Desti Youth Hostel - Jing 'an Temple, Changping Road ligger i Shanghai, 13 minuters promenad från Jade buddha tempel, och har conciergeservice, rökfria rum, en gemensam lounge, gratis WiFi i... I stayed in a capsule room and even though it was pretty small it also was comfortable! The staff also were very nice and knew English well. The location was absolutely perfect, less than 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro station and only 20 minutes by metro from the city centre! Also the bar on the first floor is good and I loved the branches there. Definitely recommend to stay at Desti Youth❤️

I stayed at a Dengba hostel near Guilin Park Metro Station in Shanghai, and the location was really convenient. It’s about a 7–8 minute walk from the station, which is on Lines 9, 12, and 15, so getting to Xujiahui, People’s Square, and other places was smooth. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so I didn’t have to go far for meals or supplies. The staff were professional and friendly. I arrived a bit early, and they helped me store my luggage and patiently answered my questions about transportation and the area. Check-in and check-out were quick, and they responded promptly when I needed help. The room was clean and tidy; overall, it was a hassle-free stay with good value.

Guiye Inn - Disney Kangqiao Branch ligger i Shanghai, 5,7 km från Shanghai Disneyland, och har en gemensam lounge, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi. The staff was very good. The room was modern, clean and light. Check in was 3 hours earlier than it should be. Also they allowed us to keep our baggage after we checked out till the evening without extra charge. On the first floor there are 3 china cafes. The cat was cute.

Demba Inn- Shanghai Xintiandi Yuyuan Garden The bund store ligger i Shanghai, 1,8 km från Folkets torg, och har en gemensam lounge, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi. This hostel is wonderful and close to the heart of Shanghai, also close to the metro station. The staff were very nice and kind, I definitely return back to this hostel.
