Located in Palomino, 400 metres from Palomino Beach, Casa del Pavo Real Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. LOVED my stay here!! It’s such a cute hostel. The staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful, the pool was wonderful, and the food was unreal! The place is very clean and you can tell they pay attention to all the small details as well which I appreciated. It does feel more like a hotel with dorms rather than a hostel as it’s not the most social. But it was exactly what I was looking for with some relaxing time!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and à la carte restaurant and a garden, Tiki Hut Hostel is located just a few steps from Palomino Beach right between Palomino and San Salvador rivers. I enjoyed the community areas, there are many spaces to hang out, read something or have a good chat with other travellers.

Maria Mulata Palomino in Palomino provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a bar. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, an ATM and currency exchange for guests. Awesome location, right next to the beach.

A few steps from Playa de Riohacha, Nueve Uno Hostel is situated in Ríohacha and features air-conditioned rooms. Amazing stay, totally perfect and absolutely recomendable

Set in Palomino, 1.2 km from Palomino Beach, Hostal Corazón de Tagua offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The place is amazingly cute and really has charm built out of wood. There is lots of communal places to hang out in the shade and hamacas. Plenty of showers and bathrooms. The kitchen is one of the best i"ve seen while traveling: 8 hotplaces and at least 10 pans. And the pans are absolutely not the rotten carcinogenic pans you sometimes find in hostels. The often clean the kitchen so it stays nice and clean. Omar has the beat tips om where to eat or what to do. Of course if you look for AC and pool it might not be your vibe. Bur for backpackers like me it is a dream. I ended up staying a week there. And already want to go back.

Set in Ríohacha, Sashii Hostel & Boutique. Features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Easy to get to central location. Everything was clean, the terrace and balconies were nice. Beds were comfortable.

Hostal La Media Luna Palomino is located among the scenic trees and plants of Palomino and only 1 km away from the nearest beach. The open-air hostel offers a shared lounge. Lovely simple bamboo hotel with a beautiful garden and pool area, 10 minutes from the center of Palomino and from the river Palomino. The owner Juan speaks English and is super friendly, funny and supportive (helped us with laundry, money etc.). Perfect stay!

Set in Mingueo, Pomelo Hostal features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, terrace, and free WiFi. The hostel offers pool views and a barbecue. I had a great experience staying at Pomelo hostel! It is located on a beautiful tropical farm with a lovely pool. The hosts, Nina and Camillo, are both very kind and accommodating. The hostel is just a ten-minute walk to Rio Ancho and a ten-minute moto ride to Palomino, where there are great restaurants and beautiful beaches. The property feels like a little paradise, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Set in Ríohacha, Guajira region, Hammocks - Hamacas is situated 100 metres from Playa de Riohacha. The hostel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Really Great !!! 👌👍🙌 💯

Rancheria Utta has a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and restaurant in Cabo de la Vela. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 1.8 km of Cabo de la Vela Beach. We had perfect days at Ranchería Utta. We stayed for three nights, but if I had known how special the energy of Cabo de la Vela is, and how serene and comfortable the ranchería would be, I would have stayed longer. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and everyone who works there is kind and helpful. The lodge is beautifully maintained, and the room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I will definitely come back someday — everything was truly special. A heartfelt thank you especially to Gabriel, Andrés, and Will, with whom we had the most contact. A big hug!
