The staff are all amazing people, in this hostel we feel like at home because a great atmosphere is created and you live in a real house, the common areas are great, parking is available and it's very close to the beach and the town

Tamarindo Hostel & Surf Camp asub väga keskkonnasõbralikus ja lõõgastavas kohas, rannast ja Tamarindo kesklinnast vaid mõne sammu kaugusel. This is the best hostel I went to during my 5 weeks in Costa Rica. Beds are comfortable, there is a huge bathroom where there is shower and toilet in each unit, great kitchen with lots of kitchenware and two electric stoves. In the dormitories there are enough space for all the backpacks and stuff. They have small lockers for valuables. Nice pool with sunbeds and hammocks. And beautiful plants in the garden. Staff and volunteers and super nice and helpful, they really care about the wellbeing of their guests. And also the hostel is very clean. Close to center and supermarket. I am more than happy I chose this one in Tamarindo.

Set in Hacienda Santa María, 23.7 km from Miravalles Volcano, Santa Maria Volcano Lodge Hotel & Restaurante offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. A hidden gem! Such an amazing experience in the rainforest, the sounds of the rain on the roof all night was truly magical. We arrived in the evening (and hungry) and had a beautiful dinner cooked with so much care & love.

The location is perfect – just a 1-minute walk from the beach, where you can catch breathtaking sunsets every evening. The vibe of the hostel is relaxed, friendly, and super welcoming. A special shoutout to Juan, who went above and beyond to help me during my stay – especially when I needed to buy my Tica Bus ticket. He was incredibly kind, patient, and resourceful. If you're looking for a chill spot close to the ocean, with helpful staff and a great atmosphere, this is the place. Would definitely come back!

Alouatta Playa Coyote asub San Franciscos, 38 km kaugusel Montezuma joast. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, terrass ja baar. Kohapeal on turismiinfo ja grillimisvõimalus. It felt so good to sleep in such a comfortable bed but in a tent - right in the middle of nature. You could gaze at the stars at night time and hear all of the beautiful nature around you. Misha and Jen are wonderful, friendly hosts who made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast (and conversation) were very much enjoyed :-) Thank you!

Hostel Dodero asub Libeerias. Kohapeal on aed, ühine puhkeruum, terrass ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The hostel is very nice, the staff is amazing, helpful in every way. The place is only a few minutes walk from the bus station.

Hostel La Botella de Leche asub Tamarindo rannast 300 meetri kaugusel. Kohapeal on suur aed koos väljas paikneva puhkealaga, ühine televiisoriga elutuba ja bassein. Couple in our 40's. We stayed at La Botella de Leche for almost 3 weeks, Oct. 2024. The staff were amazing. It is well cleaned. Near a grocery and pharmacy. A very short walk to the beach. Loved everything about it. Would highly recommend.

Mai Ke Kai Surf House asub Tamarindos, Tamarindo rannast 600 meetri kaugusel. Kohapeal on concierge, mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud toad, aed, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja ühine puhkeruum. Amazing vibe!! We were supposed to only stay for 3 nights but ended up staying 6. Big kitchen to make food, chill areas, and nice rooms with comfy beds.

Woodstock Hostel asub Sámaras, 700 meetri kaugusel Samara rannast. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, terrass ja grillimisvahendid. A lovely hostel full of charm. The rooms and the kitchen are very clean and well-maintained – even during the ongoing renovations, which the owner is carrying out with great care. The owner and the entire team are incredibly friendly and always happy to help. What stands out most is the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere – thanks to the great people and the adorable dogs, you feel right at home.
