Even though I had booked a smaller room, the host graciously showed me several room options upon arrival and let me choose the one I preferred. They had already started a fire in the wood-burning stove of the larger room to make sure it would be warm and welcoming - a small gesture that made a big difference. The atmosphere was calm and genuine, and our brief conversation was warm without being overbearing. It’s clear that the host cares not just about running a place to sleep, but about making guests feel looked after. A simple, beautiful place with thoughtful hospitality, highly recommended.
