Fabulous family run hotel. Enviable terrace views of Pyramids. I had a Rental Car and there is good free parking 1 min walk away (do not pay anyone who asks, its free and I parked for two days). Breakfast (from 8am) on the terrace is good and leaving early they prepared a takeaway breakfast for 7am which was very kind. Water provided daily. 3mins walk to Sphinx entrance. Don't be put-off by the low prices, its not high-end luxury however it was extremely clean, hot-water, excellent aircon, refrigerator in room. The staff were all friendly and the owner incredibly attentive with helpful advice and ensuring we were happy. Absolutely recommended.

Staff was incredible. Really helped us with any request and favour. We stayed twice here because we felt it was the best we could get in downtown Cairo for this sort of budget. breakfast was abundant and good (typical Egyptian). The room was spacious and double glazed windows were quite good (better to stay in one of the rooms at the back). The room had everything you need including fridge and AC. We would definitely go back to Riviera. It's on 2nd floor of an old building but most of the hotels are like this in downtown

The house is beautiful, lovely furnishings, very friendly & helpful staff. Didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Once you step inside the gates, the property is exceptional. Highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful experience at DAR Pyramids Inn. The facilities are new, very clean, and comfortable, which makes you feel at home from the very beginning. The food is delicious, and one of the best parts is that you can order meals right at the hotel and enjoy them on their amazing rooftop terrace with a breathtaking view of the pyramids — truly unforgettable. The staff was always kind and attentive, and you can really tell they care about making your stay as pleasant as possible. One gesture we deeply appreciated was on the day of our departure: since we had to leave before breakfast hours, they kindly prepared a breakfast to go, outside of the usual service time. This thoughtful gesture came from the owner himself, who is always present and goes out of his way to make sure guests feel at home. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

My family and I stayed at this place during our whole journey in Cairo. The room was clean and comfortable. The AC saved us a lot. We also had a balcony which was great! The breakfast was good and generous and the staff were amazing and accomodating with our requests (we asked for many things 😄). There was a small kitchen that we could use to make tea and so on. The building had an elevator which was life-saving since we had many suitcases. The manager and his brother and other staff members were always available and helped us book most of our tours with cars and guides. They also helped us check-in early which was very much appreciated by my parents. In addition, the location is perfect! Close to the metro station, to a big street full of shops and restaurant, close to the train station and to multiple tourist areas. Thanks a lot for everything you really made our stay in Cairo wonderful 🙏
