Located in the heart of Cairo, this hostel is 10 minutes’ walk from the Egyptian Museum and the Nile. It has a terrace and rooms with a balcony. Free Wi-Fi is available. Cecilia hostel made me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped in. It has a lovely vibe, everybody who works there is extremely kind. The rooftop is beautiful, I enjoyed relaxing there. Everything is clean, they were very acommodating when I asked them for a desk in my room. They even organised a dinner when I was there. The hostel has a very good energy and you feel it. I will be back in December and I will surely return. Thank you so much for everything.

Set in Cairo, 300 metres from Tahrir Square, Marhaba Inn Hostel features air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace. ‏From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt a sense of comfort and a cleanliness beyond what I could imagine, and that’s the most important thing for me. It felt like I was walking into a 5-star hotel, not a hostel. The staff are lovely, educated, and very friendly—you feel like you’re at home and never want to leave. The guests are also wonderful, from all nationalities, and when we sat in the reception we talked about everything, exchanged cultures, and carried ourselves with confidence as if we had known each other for a long time, not just met by chance a couple of seconds ago. ‏The rooms are absolutely amazing, maintained at the highest level of cleanliness, from the bedding to the décor, and they’re extremely relaxing for the nerves. The lighting is stunning, the balcony view is incredible, and the street below is not noisy or crowded but rather in a very clean, upscale area close to everything around you. Of course, I’ll be staying here every time I come to Cairo … I wanted to add that the photos shown are exactly the same in their cleanliness, maybe even better. Most places put up pictures and when you go, you’re surprised that it’s not like that. But in this place, you’ll be surprised at how it’s even better than the photos I always want this place to remain with this level of cleanliness and that fresh, pleasant scent that is special to hotels so there wasn’t even a speck of dust on the furniture, and the bathroom was also very clean.

Set in Cairo, 300 metres from Tahrir Square, Landmark Hostel Cairo provides air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. This hostel was my little oasis in chaotic Cairo. The facilities in the dorm room were among the best that I’ve used at hostels. They’re the cleanest because they’re cleaned every day. I was especially pleased that there were no insects. Breakfast was very filling. I was most impressed with the staff at this hostel. Most of them were university students, working part-time while attending school. They were always cheerful and friendly whenever I interacted with them. I got the impression that they genuinely enjoyed doing their job and being helpful to others. I flew a long way to Egypt looking to view historical sites and artifacts, but the highlight of my Egypt trip was meeting these young people at Landmark Hostel. Whatever degrees or careers they end up with, I wish them success.

Located in Cairo and with Great Sphinx reachable within 2.4 km, DAR Pyramids View Inn - Rooftop provides a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. This hotel has the very best views of the pyramids! It's set on the 14th floor of a building so the vista is superior - far better than the rooftops in front of the pyramids. Mohammed, Bilal, Ibrahim and the rest of the team were amazing hosts. They made us feel so welcome and helped us with every tiny question or problem. There was no hidden agenda, they were just happy to host us. There was a delicious breakfast cooked to order in the mornings. 1000% recommend Dar!

Situated in Cairo and with Tahrir Square reachable within 1.1 km, Space Hostel features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, free bikes, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared... Everything is clean and modern, very comfortable stay, reliable WiFi, great AC, very convenient + mostly quiet location in downtown, and amazing staff. I totally recommend this place!

Heaven Hostel is located in Cairo, within less than 1 km of Tahrir Square and a 17-minute walk of The Egyptian Museum. Very clean and modern. Shahd (the young woman at reception) is very helpful and friendly.

Cairo Casa Hotel is located in Cairo, within 2.5 km of Al-Azhar Mosque and 2.8 km of El Hussien Mosque. The two youngsters are very friendly, kind, and helpful. They make me feel like I’m at home. I like them a lot. 😊
