Featuring free WiFi, a barbecue and a terrace, the hostel offers pet-friendly accommodation in Drumnadrochit, 2 km from Urquhart Castle and 22 km from Inverness. Being greeted by Sandra on arrival - great communication and information before arrival. We arrived a little late as we found the high road a little tough on bikes but Sandra made sure we were well catered for and ensured we got a beer and a little dram before bed time. Loved the bar/dining area, very atmospheric. Great fun with 'Dougal' the dog I would highly recommend Loch Ness Backpackers Lodge

I stayed in a very small but practical camping hut. Staff were nice and service minded. there is a laundry. there is a shared kitchen living room. No groceries right nearby but had to walk 800 m. perfect when hiking the Great Glen Way.
