I really enjoyed my stay in this little paradise. It was what I needed at that time. It has kind of a festival vibe - spontaneous day trips to stunning natural places (the canyon! The hot springs!), super delicious vegetarian food in the evenings, an impromtu dance party (ABBA!), just sitting at the table or on the porch and share stories or sing together... lots of friendly people, animals and kids around. Unforgettable. The place has a very nice vibe and was thoughtfully created by its owners. The bunk beds are comfortable, there is lots of space to chill or do some work, the bathroom is clean and has three separate toilets and showers. There is also a small kitchen that you can use if you are on a budget and want to prepare your own food. The area is very peaceful, a little outside of Martvili but within walking distance to a small supermarket. The owners can borrow you a bike for 25 lari, or if you don't mind walking longer distances/hitchhiking, you can reach most places easily.

Tsiuri and her daughter were lovely and very hospitable. The guesthouse sits a very short walk outside the main village and in a gorgeous setting. There is a patio overlooking a very pretty garden where we were offered tea and water when we arrived. The water in the shower gets piping hot, and the shower and toilet were both very clean. The room was also very clean, and we had a nice thick blanket (even though it was July, it got quite chilly at night, but we were cozy inside! Dinner was also excellent. Lots of veggies, and everything was very flavorful! It was a nice contrast from some of the very heavy meals we have been eating here in Georgia. I had the opportunity to have a very thought-provoking conversation with Tsiuri. She's really an insightful and wonderful person. Thank you for everything!! We won't forget this stay!
