Situé à Bukit Lawang, l’établissement Jungle treking & Jungle Tour if you want to stay here, you must book treking only with us propose un jardin. The owner is super friendly and helpful. He is available on Whatsapp and is very responsive. He picked me up from the bus station and also drove me there when I was leaving Bukit Lawang. He gave lots of good, accurate and useful information regarding transportation and prices and restaurant recommendations. The room was clean. It wasn't pristine and perfect but it was nice and I was very comfortable. Remember, this is in the jungle basically, so there will be some insects from time to time and even a few geckos, but they are really cute! They have mosquito nets, so you feel safe from the creepy crawlies. But there weren't many of them anyway. And finally, do the tour with them! The prices are not extraordinarily cheap, but they are in line with everywhere else. I asked around, and they were all the same price, so honestly, I would be careful if you found a tour that is "too cheap." The guide, Putra, spoke English well, and he helped us find 4 organgutans and other animals in the off-season. The food was plentiful and delicious (thank you, Bruno, the cook).

Nous avons étrenné les nouvelles chambres d'hôte, toutes neuves et aménagées avec soin, dans l'esprit indonésien. Nous recommandons cet hébergement. Pour ceux qui veulent faire un trek dans la jungle, vous pouvez réserver en même temps que l'hébergement car le propriétaire, Ibo, est également guide de trek. L'hébergement est idéalement situé par rapport au départ et arrivée du trek. Nous avons fait le trek de 3 jours avec Ibo. C'était top ! Nous avons eu la chance de voir de près des orang outans (les photos ci-dessous sont celles que nous avons prises). Ibo nous a egalement proposé un trek nocturne pour voir des serpents, nous avons eu la chance de voir un luwak dans un arbre ! Nous avons terminé notre séjour par un cours de cuisine. Bref il y a beaucoup de choses à faire et à découvrir à Bukit Lawang !! On y retournera, c'est sûr !

L’établissement Nias Frank Accomodation se trouve à Lagudri, à quelques pas de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage Sorake. Frank and his family are great hosts, they make you feel very comfortable and welcome. Unreal location right in front of the break walk put on the reef and you are in. We stayed two weeks wish we stayed longer

L’établissement Salty Dog Hostel se situe à Telukdalem, à quelques pas de ce lieu d’intérêt : Baloho Beach. Il possède un jardin, un salon commun, une terrasse et un parking privé gratuit. Amazing vibes and super chill environment. The owner and all of the staff are incredible and super fun people to hang with. You go to this place as a stranger but even after a couple days you become like family. I wish I could have stayed longer. 30 min drive to Saroke but no problem because it was easy to rent scooters from salty dog. Best place ever!!

I have to say, from the outside, it's not the best by look but honestly the warm energy you receive from the owner makes you turn a blind eye on everything around and also it's actually a meeting point for soo many backpackers either arriving in Melan or just leaving!

The owner is so kind and helpful! He helped me with recieving a package in Indonesia what was so important for me. He gives some good tips for the city and for first steps in Indonesia. The place has nice common space so it's easy to socialise with other travellers and go out with them for food, sightseeing etc.

First very disapointed because the booked superior room was very dirty and had a very bad smell inside. Bought an upgrade to VIP room, it was much better and my stay was fine. Bed was big and comfy, facilities to make tea/coffee in room. A/C worked fine. Alfa Mart near to hotel.
