I had an amazing stay and the Jungle tour I booked with them was incredible! The rooms are very simple, but have everything you need. I definitely recommend coming here!

Located in Lagudri and within a few steps of Sorake Beach, Nias Frank Accomodation features a private beach area, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The rooms are very clean and well kept. The location is ideal, giving us a direct view of the wave.

The owner and all of the staff are incredible and super fun people to hang with. You go to this place as a stranger but even after a couple days you become like family. I wish I could have stayed longer. 30 min drive to Saroke but no problem because it was easy to rent scooters from salty dog. Best place ever!!

Situated within 1.8 km of Medan Train Station and 4 km of Maimun Palace, RedDoorz Hostel @ Capsule Inn Medan features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Medan. Stayed one night at Red Capsule Hostel before my flight — it was a great choice for a short stay. The capsule was clean, comfortable, and the facilities seemed well-kept. I didn’t have time to explore much, but from what I saw, it’s a solid spot for a quick stopover in Medan. Would consider staying again for a longer visit.

Probably one of the best dorms I have ever stayed in for that price. It’s a very large dorm, but only few other people were there.

I have to say, from the outside, it's not the best by look but honestly the warm energy you receive from the owner makes you turn a blind eye on everything around and also it's actually a meeting point for soo many backpackers either arriving in Melan or just leaving!

Medan Dazhong Backpacker's Hostel is set in Medan. The property is around 2.9 km from Maimun Palace, 3.2 km from Medan Grand Mosque and 1.7 km from Pajak Ikan Medan. The owner is so kind and helpful! He helped me with recieving a package in Indonesia what was so important for me. He gives some good tips for the city and for first steps in Indonesia. The place has nice common space so it's easy to socialise with other travellers and go out with them for food, sightseeing etc.

Pondok Wisata Istana XI is set in Medan, within 400 metres of Medan Grand Mosque and 3.3 km of Medan Train Station. The property is non-smoking and is located 500 metres from Maimun Palace. First very disapointed because the booked superior room was very dirty and had a very bad smell inside. Bought an upgrade to VIP room, it was much better and my stay was fine. Bed was big and comfy, facilities to make tea/coffee in room. A/C worked fine. Alfa Mart near to hotel.
