I have to say, from the outside, it's not the best by look but honestly the warm energy you receive from the owner makes you turn a blind eye on everything around and also it's actually a meeting point for soo many backpackers either arriving in Melan or just leaving!

Medan Dazhong Backpacker ' s Hostel อยู่ในเมดาน ที่พักนี้อยู่ห่างจากพระราชวังไมมุน 2.9 กม. ห่างจากสุเหร่าใหญ่เมดาน 3.2 กม. และห่างจาก Pajak Ikan Medan 1.7 กม. The owner is so kind and helpful! He helped me with recieving a package in Indonesia what was so important for me. He gives some good tips for the city and for first steps in Indonesia. The place has nice common space so it's easy to socialise with other travellers and go out with them for food, sightseeing etc.

First very disapointed because the booked superior room was very dirty and had a very bad smell inside. Bought an upgrade to VIP room, it was much better and my stay was fine. Bed was big and comfy, facilities to make tea/coffee in room. A/C worked fine. Alfa Mart near to hotel.
