Salty Dog Hostel ligger i Telukdalam, et stenkast fra Pantai Baloho Strand, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Amazing vibes and super chill environment. The owner and all of the staff are incredible and super fun people to hang with. You go to this place as a stranger but even after a couple days you become like family. I wish I could have stayed longer. 30 min drive to Saroke but no problem because it was easy to rent scooters from salty dog. Best place ever!!

RedDoorz Hostel @ Capsule Inn Medan ligger i Medan, 1,8 km fra Medan Station og 4 km fra Istana Maimun. Værelserne har aircondition og et fælles badeværelse. A very central hostel with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The receptionist speaks good English and is very helpful. Highly recommended! Tip: Bring a USB charger, as the capsule only has USB ports—power outlets are available only outside.
