Situated in Yogyakarta and with Museum Sonobudoyo reachable within 1.3 km, Sastro Place features concierge services, rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. The homestay was really unique. The rooms were really clean. The pool in the front was a refreshing way to cool down during the day. The property was a short grab from many central locations. The staff were amazing! They really went above and beyond at every step. Their communication was great throughout. They even offered to pack us a breakfast to go on mornings we had early starts with tours etc,.

Hostel ZEN MOON asub Yogyakartas ning pakub ainult täiskasvanutele mõeldud majutust koos aia ja baariga. Sultani palee on umbes 3,4 km, Sonobudoyo muuseum ja Fort Vredeburg 3,6 km kaugusel. Everything! Amazing location close to restaurants and cafes. Helpful and kind host who let us check in early and even check out late and shower after a day trip. Bed was comfortable and the whole place was decorated really nicely. Everything was clean and tidy. Water/tea/coffee and snacks provided. Bathroom with powerful shower and hot water. We’ve been travelling for a while and this has been our favourite stay. Can’t believe how cheap it was too.

With that level of care and transparency, it’s no surprise the hostel maintains such a high score on Booking.com. A standout choice for travelers seeking value, guidance, and genuine hospitality.

It's full of plants, hammocks, and everything else you need for a lax stay. Host Ardi and friends are always up for a good time and show travellers around. There are also easy links to tours and activities in Jogja. You're also provided ear plugs in case you're not used to the loud prayers, but I personally didn't find it an issue because they don't last very long and are quite soothing in fact.

Set in Timuran, 1.9 km from Sultan's Palace, KOTTA Hostel offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I booked this place to stay briefly while waiting for an overnight train. However, the facilities were much cleaner and newer than I expected. It was the cleanest hostel I've stayed at in Indonesia. The host was also friendly and pleasant. Next time, I'll just stay overnight.

Located in Timuran, 3.4 km from Sultan's Palace, Abrakadabra Manshon provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. I’ve been staying at Abrakadabra for a week and am planning to stay more. As a female solo traveler, I’ve felt like it’s my own place, having privacy and security. The host is very kind and speaks good English. He served good breakfast at the requested time and helped me book affordable tours in Jogja. The place is cozy, clean, and very close to the city center with lots of good restaurants and places to visit around. There’s a beautiful rooftop surrounded by plants which is great for having a coffee and chilling out. I could also use the kitchen to cook for myself. If you’re lucky, you’ll encounter other guests to hang out with :)

Set in Timuran, Huma Yogyakarta Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. The best hostel I've ever been to. Quiet location with pretty, green streets, yet still central. New, modern, clean, shared kitchen, plenty of common areas and opportunities to relax. Everything a backpacker could wish for. Thank you for the great stay!

Super friendly staff, especially Daisy and Mal, and easy to get to know people, foe example by cooking dinner together or at the complimentary breakfast
