Situated within 3.4 km of Sultan's Palace and 3.6 km of Museum Sonobudoyo, ZEN MOON Hostel features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Yogyakarta. The place is really nice and there is a kitchen on the rooftop which is a real must. We felt very good in our room which was very clean, well decorated and spacious. Every morning, we had hot water and biscuits on the table in front of our door. Finally, the location is exactly what we needed : near cafes and restaurants, perfect after a long day of visits. I recommend !

The rooms and common areas are always spotless and comfortable. What makes this place special is the amazing staff , they’re so kind and welcoming, it feels like staying with friends. I definitely recommend this hostel if you want a clean, nice place with friendly people. Highly recommended!

I’ve been staying at Abrakadabra for a week and am planning to stay more. As a female solo traveler, I’ve felt like it’s my own place, having privacy and security. The host is very kind and speaks good English. He served good breakfast at the requested time and helped me book affordable tours in Jogja. The place is cozy, clean, and very close to the city center with lots of good restaurants and places to visit around. There’s a beautiful rooftop surrounded by plants which is great for having a coffee and chilling out. I could also use the kitchen to cook for myself. If you’re lucky, you’ll encounter other guests to hang out with :)

Feels more like an art hotel. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, they couldn’t have done more. Dorms are really private and very comfortable. Hostel is in a great location

Staff are amazing, so involved and warm! The free breakfast program was a major plus. Hostel was very well designed, with natural sunlight coming in, which curated the peaceful and calming atmosphere :)
