We rented a room that is called an apartment meaning there was one bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. The apartment was spacious, modern and very comfortable. The breakfast was great. There is an option to use laundry facilities for a small fee which is great too. Welcome drink was nice as well as staff who were great. Especially would like to praise a reception Giulia!!! She went out of her way for us. Thank you. Before used to stay for the same price in other hotel and cannot even say enough how much better this was. Great thing was also how close the train station is. Will book again.

The host was a very nice and cool person, he built the place himself and you can see that he put love and thought in it. He also upgraded our room and gave us a beer. Breakfast was great, with homemade bread, hummus and olives. He also let us bring what was left with us, so that we had lunch for the way. Would totally recommend!

The staff was truly really nice and gave an outstanding service. The breakfast was really sorted and the girl working there was very nice and social. We had a friendly conversation with her and the rest of the travellers in the common spaces, since the environment was very familiar and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and safe.

This is a great accommodation option, set in the lovely mountains, on the Via Degli Dei and the German Gothic Line of World War 2. It is 5 kms from the train station at Vado, and 4kms from Monzuno. There are buses to both towns. For an inexpensive hot meal (takeaway) option, I would strongly recommend Sonia next door. You will need to book ahead and the host's will give you contact numbers. I tried all 3 accommodations at the residence - tent, bungalow, and apartment -, and they were all cozy and inexpensive. The host couple are most hospitable and helpful. Great value!
