Staff and other guests were incredibly kind and talkative, seemed like they had known each other for quite a while and still willing to converse with me.

Boasting a terrace, Kotori Coworking & Hostel Takamatsu is situated in Takamatsu in the Kagawa region, 1.9 km from Kitahamaebisu Shrine and 2.4 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu. Awesome place. I went in February which seemed to be the off season. There weren’t many people staying here. But Takamatsu seemed to be a little bit off the beaten path for the typical foreign travel route. This city has so much potential and I hope to see more people come here and stay at this hostel in the future! This hostel company has a few different hostels in the more popular parts of Japan, so perhaps they see the potential of this area as well. There was tons of great things to do around, I ended up island hopping and found so many cool things! This property was great and i really recommend it.

Despite being 6 years old, the property seems like it’s just opened! The dormitory still smells of wood. Everything is immaculate. The bathroom is very pleasant and modern, right next to the sleeping areas. There is a fun bar and communal area to hang out. There are only 6 beds in the dormitory. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The garden is lovely. The surrounding area is beautiful. Overall one of the best hostels I stayed in Japan.

Sen Guesthouse asub Shodoshimas, 16 km kaugusel Seiganji templi Cycadist. Külalistemajal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, erarand ja ühine puhkeruum. Kohapeal on ühisköök ja terrass. The hosts and other guests were very friendly and the accommodation is in a beautiful (albeit a little inconvenient to get to) location. The breakfast they offer is also delicious.

Shin San is really knowledgeable of local culture and tradition and open to share with all guests. Very detail and helpful host. Coincidentally joined a bicycle trip he arranged with another guest, which happened to be a surprise and highlight of the stay in Takamatsu.
