I really liked the couple that run the place. They keep it so clean and the community room is very user-friendly. It was comfortable as a solo female traveler. It’s a great location, easy to walk to the airport, grocery store, and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

The couple who run this guesthouse are very nice and welcoming. Everything is very clean. My single room had comfortable bed and a desk; bath is down the hall. The optional Japanese breakfast is highly recommended--tasty and filling. For other meals guests use microwave and hot-water kettle to fix their own food. Quiet location with the gentle sound of the surf. I am on a bicycle ride and found the location ideal: A day's ride from Amami via Route 81, then a loop to Kasarizaka Lighthouse at northern end of island, then a ride south on Route 58.

Incredible hosts. They’re not around all day but when they are, they’ve very welcoming and kind. Despite not speaking the same language, they made exceptional effort using google translate to support me. The scooter hire was considerably affordable and a great way to get around the island. Highly recommended!

Sakai Guest House AMAMI （堺ゲストハウス奄美） ตั้งอยู่ใน Setouchi ในระยะ 42 กม.จาก Yanigawa Shopping Street และ 50 กม. จากสถานที่จัดนิทรรศการทางทะเลอามามิ ที่พักนี้อยู่ห่างจากหาด Seisui Beach 2.3 กม. Staff was so nice! Got everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay in Setouchi :)

Hostel Tomal ตั้งอยู่ในคาโกชิมะ ห่างจาก Kagoshima City Museum of Art 800 ม. และ ห่างจาก Sengoku Tenjin 600 ม. Really nice vibe in the hostel, the host Shoko was very friendly and let me leave my bags early. I would come here again if I go back to Kagoshima.
