Our stay at Momiji was great! The old Japanese house was warm and homey and the hosts were kind and welcoming. Two cats were a bonus. Dinner at the Thai restaurant was exceptional and highly recommended! I would be back anytime and ideally would stay for longer!

You will feel transported back in time in this small inn. Staff were amazing and helpful with hints on exploring the city. The neighbourhood is quieter and has historic charm. Nearby tram and bus stops make it convenient. Kumamoto is a great city and much of it is walkable.

We had a wonderful stay – the accommodation is cozy and lovingly decorated with great attention to detail. You can really feel that the hosts put their heart into everything: many things are homemade, and that personal touch makes all the difference. Everything was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. What we loved most was the warm hospitality – we felt welcome from the very first moment. Highly recommended, and we’d love to come back!

Το HIKE είναι σε Tamana, σε απόσταση 20 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Ιαματικές Πηγές Hirayama και προσφέρει κλιματιζόμενα καταλύματα και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was large and clean. Our room was the family room with a decent sized playhouse inside where the kids play and even sleep. The building is old, but has been remodeled and is comfortable. The baked goods in the cafe on the 1st floor are delicious, and the cafe is whimsical and charming. There’s a kid’s playroom at the back of the cafe which was great for us, a group with lots of kids. There are also many ceramic wares by local artists for sale. I’d like to visit when the weather is cooler and explore the neighborhood.
