I absolutely loved staying at Momiji hostel! Hide-san told and showed me everything around the house and gave some advice on where to go in the neighborhood, made a simple yet good breakfast in the morning. We've had a pleasant talk with Hide-san before I left, and he made sure I got on the bus to the Takamori station. I was surprised with being the only one to stay overnight that day, and I felt super comfortable. The arcade machine, the room samurai katana and tanto, the shampoo bar with Hide-san's personal recommendations, the bookshelf with manga in different languages, and the two lovely cats Nuan and Riku who even have their own Instagram - everything was top-notch! Hide-san, I would love to meet you again some day!

Tudzura ตั้งอยู่ในคุมาโมโตะ ห่างจากคฤหาสน์โฮโซกาวา เคียวบูเต ไม่เกิน 2.3 กม. Fabulous little inn. It's a refurbished old inn done in a very tasteful way. It was like being a guest in a Japanese house. We loved being tucked away on a quiet street in Kumamoto with such friendly and welcoming staff. We had a great time staying over and enjoyed the Sake tasting and conversation with the lovely hostess Natsumi who recommended us places to eat and have coffee. Next time we need to stay over more than 1 night!

Very clean, stylish hostel with large rooms that are thoughtfully put together. Hosts were helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. We were bike touring and they had a large indoor area where we could safely store our bikes overnight. Restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for having us!

Gorgeous historic building with a modern Japanese style, our private room was absolutely perfect. It was spacious, large bed was so comfortable, quiet and such a lovely space to relax in. The common areas were lovely, clean and beautifully decorated. Great location in the town centre and so close to the train station and parking. The staff and owners are truly what makes this stay a 10/10! The warmest greetings, kind and friendly local tips and knowledge. Special thanks to staff for such a wonderful experience staying in Taketa. Special mention to Shun for his amazing hospitality and our new friend Takumi for sharing his cooking tips with us.

Yufuin Country Road Youth Hostel ตั้งอยู่ในทำเลสะดวกในเขต Yufuin Onsen ของยูฟุอิน โดยตั้งอยู่ห่างจากสนามกีฬาโออิตะแบงค์โดม 49 กม. ห่างจากทะเลสาบคินรินโกะ 2 กม. และห่างจากสถานีเบปปุ 27 กม. So cosy, sweet staff, good breakfast!

I really liked the couple that run the place. They keep it so clean and the community room is very user-friendly. It was comfortable as a solo female traveler. It’s a great location, easy to walk to the airport, grocery store, and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

Shiori-san is not just a guesthouse owner; she is a very special soul in this universe, an angel who sincerely cares for her guests. I feel very lucky to have met her. I would come here again just to see her. The guesthouse is very comfortable, and you can choose to stay in either an old-style Japanese house or a modern house. Shiori-san will always make sure you're happy and plans amazing activities with the other guests staying at the guesthouse. This way, you experience Japanese culture in a unique way. This place will always stay in my heart, and I hope to return soon. I highly & totally recommend it!
