Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Incorporated with a restaurant and bar, I could find food conveniently even others have closed down. The toilet seat is exceptional. It has regular showers and bath. My bunkbed has outside view. Spacious for storing personal items. The bed was soft and nice. Very clean overall.

We're going back from Mt.Fuji and overdue for check-in, but anyway, we found the best solution and got the cozy and clean room for rest and recovery.

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful - they helped to book a bus to Tokyo and even cut the end off our walking sticks from mount Fuji so it would fit in our bags. The hostel was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!
