Set in Fujikawaguchiko, less than 1 km from Lake Kawaguchi, HOSTEL MICHIKUSA-YA offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Extremely clean and cozy, with views of Mt Fuji right from the common space windows. The location is great -- you are right on the lake, making it very easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The host is also the nicest and picked me up from the bus station (even after my arrival time was delayed!). I only stayed 1 night but would love to come back

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Incorporated with a restaurant and bar, I could find food conveniently even others have closed down. The toilet seat is exceptional. It has regular showers and bath. My bunkbed has outside view. Spacious for storing personal items. The bed was soft and nice. Very clean overall.

Staff are exceptional, the cafe attached is delicious and the rooms are just perfect. Could not recommend more.

Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel is situated in Fujiyoshida, within 7.8 km of Lake Kawaguchi and 25 km of Mount Fuji. The 1-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free WiFi. The youth hostel is very easy to find, just off the Main Street when you leave the train station. The woman who runs the hostel was extremely friendly and welcoming and let us keep our bags there while we walked around town for a few hours. When it was time to check in, everything was very easy and we could pay with credit card. She showed us to our room and the rest of the facilities in the guest house. It is a very nice cozy house and we had the best sleep ever there. Definitely recommend!

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. It’s so clean, new, nice, comfy, good looking. Staff is so friendly. You can have a meal and shisha at the bar? I love it.
