You can leave lagguage before check in and after check out. Some reviewers complain about cracking noise - yes, this is old wooden house, it cracks, but it is very authentic and very clean.

Very close to everywhere we wanted to go, right next to Nara park, but not far from the station. Takashi, our host, was charming and spoke perfect English. He recommended where to go and returned to the house to show us how to turn the heating on when it got cold. We had a wonderful stay and we already miss it!

You have your own bathroom and there is a bath attached to it 🤤. Enough toilet paper and toothbrush. And there is a kitchen, where you can cook your own meal. And of course a smoking area for people who smoke. This was the best place to stay in Japan
