The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with good facilities that made my stay very convenient. It was very peaceful and calm - perfect for staying before or after a flight. The host, Ayash, was extremely kind and helpful with food recommendations, transport, and local tips. He even gave us a free ride to the airport, which was really appreciated. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay (not a party place), book here without hesitation. From the moment I met Sumith, he was incredibly kind and helpful. I honestly was not sure at the beginning why he was being so generous when I was only paying a few bucks (I even felt like he spent more on food, fruits, and drinks for me than I paid for my stay), but I soon realized that’s simply who he is. He was always happy to show me around and invite me to dinner with his friends, so I got to experience real Sri Lankan homemade food. We spent a lot of time together during my stay — watching the sunset at the lagoon, having lunch and dinner together, and chatting every night. He just started this homestay, so the place is quite simple and rustic, but that’s what makes it special — you truly feel at home here. I’m so glad I found this hidden gem. Honestly, I could go on and on about how incomparable my stay was. I’ve already booked another stay with him before I fly back home because I wanted to spend the end of my holiday somewhere that feels like home. Thank you so much Sumith for everything — I’ll see you in a month!
