The beautiful surroundings, garden and tasteful interior decor stood out at Eden kandy. The bed is sturdy and comfy. The staff and mr Ayuda are very accommodating and helpful and overall , it was a lovely stay .

Kitchen and common area. Clean two shower rooms and the mirror on hand wash dispenser. Comfy bed with curtains, even there's a small window on top bunk. Nice view anytime..

Superb hospitality, the most friendly family ever. The host Chathuranga and his mother felt like family, his mum even baked a cake for my arrival afternoon tea.! HUGE BREAKFAST, I couldn't finish it. So many delicious Sri Lanka favourites, coconut roti, dhal, rice, chicken curry, mango, sambal and some sweet fritters, I can't remember the name See the photos, comfortable bed, white fresh sheets, fluffy white towel and thin blanket, Fan in the room, my room had a TV monitor with games console but I didn't use it. 4 toilet cubicles outside, and 2 shower cubicles with HOT WATER. Another 2 wash basins inside, outdoor terrace smoking area. Wonderful views, they offered tea and coffee often, I brought my own instant coffee so they gave me a kettle. Electric power sockets next to each bed. Square pin, adaptor maybe required but they gave me one. Quiet peaceful area. Walking distance to the town, or jump on any bus from the main road, tuk tuk access if required. Access up a driveway from the road, see my photos. (Google may show you right outside a house on the road but the hostel Homestay is accessed from a driveway / slip road 30 metres before) it's just 50 metres up this driveway. Fan jn the room, I didn't use, the room was perfect temperate. It's January now. Handsoap in the washroom. Comfortable lounge chairs and seating area inside and out. The family has only recently started taking guests into the Homestay and I encourage you to stay and enjoy this wonderful Sri Lanka hospitality. I've been to kandy dozens of times over the years and I believe Kandy needs more quality hostels like this with top quality comfortable service and facilities at a budget price. If you are even considering you're options I would definitely choose this because the breakfast included blows the competition away. Anywhere else you would pay good money for the breakfast. As it is included it's a no brainier decision.

Asanka is an amazing host, he cooked us the best kottu we had and showed us his garden, plants and herbs and the nearby temple. He has a good knowledge about history, religion and other interesting topics, great companion to have a tour with or have a tea at his place. He made our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much!

The location is convenient, close to the main street and attractions in Ella. Breakfast was good and the place feels fairly new, with comfortable beds and clean showers. Nice man at the reception

Situato a Kandy, a 7,8 km da Centro Commerciale Kandy City Center, The Bliss Hostel Kandy prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, una sala comune e una terrazza. Il posto è un'oasi di pace nella caotica kandy. Rispetto alla città c'è una pace indescrivibile. Il giardino esterno è molto curato e godibile, come lo è la casa all'interno. Tutto è molto pulito e ampio. La suite grande è bellissima! Prendete quella se disponibile! Jude come Host è il top! Sempre attento alle nostre esigenze, si è preoccupato di farci vivere l'esperienza a kandy a 360 gradi. Una volta ha cucinato per noi ed abbiamo mangiato cibo locale con meno di 10 euro. Invece ora, mentre scrivo questa recensione, ci sta ordinando una pizza! IMPORTANTISSIMO: FATE IL TOUR CON IL TUK TUK CHE VI PROPONE! Ci siamo divertiti da matti ed abbiamo visto TUTTO. Fatevi accompagnare da Aja; è stato il nostro Tuk Tuk driver ed è suo amico. Sarà come essere in Fast & Fourios ed avere Vin Diesel che guida il Tuk Tuk. A kandy il traffico è immane, ma noi non l'abbiamo mai visto perché non siamo mai stati dietro un mezzo, persona o animale per più di 4 secondi. Aja, vi farà vivere esperienze impagabili, assaggiare cibo locale in posti locali e vi porterà ovunque vogliate andare! Jude, Aja, siete stati fantastici! Grazie!

Ubicato a Kandy, a 900 metri da Museo di Kandy, Kurumbunkz Kandy propone una terrazza, un parcheggio privato gratuito, un ristorante e un bar. Their rooftop restaurant was awesome! Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.
