This place was absolutely stunning and so so relaxing!! I went as a solo traveler and found that the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Shoutout to volunteers Gary and Lana for always being helpful and kind! I also am a surfer and thought the distance from the break would bother me but, in the end the walk along the beach was nice, and the collectivos ran frequently so I didn’t mind it in the end.

Good vibes all around, I would absolutely book to stay here again!

Offering an outdoor pool, Casa Losodeli is located in the tropical town of Puerto Escondido, just 650 metres from the beach. It features 24-hour reception and free Wi-Fi. This place was my best experience when it comes to accommodation when visiting the coast. The staff was above and beyond, the vibe was super chilled and friendly and everything was just so easy since booking this place. Only hard thing was to leave. The communication before my arrival was great! One again, thanks to everyone who participated in making my stay this pleasant!

Casa Lumaya is set in Brisas de Zicatela. The property is non-smoking and is located 400 metres from Zicatela Beach. At the hostel, every room has a desk. The rooms were great. The host was very kind and welcoming, made a lovely breakfast for us.

Boasting a garden, Tabachin del Puerto is situated in Brisas de Zicatela in the Oaxaca region, 500 metres from Zicatela Beach. The hostel has an outdoor swimming pool and a shared kitchen. The hotel is beautiful, very tasteful, and really close to the beach. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "mas grande" room and it is indeed very big, with a kitchen and two big beds. Very worth the stay!

Casa Angel Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Oaxaca City. Most social hostel I've ever been to. They really make an effort to plan activities and make the atmosphere fun for everyone. Great happy hour on the rooftop. I like that people actually respected the 11 pm quiet rule. Customer service was top notch. Loved that there were several bathrooms which were all clean and had hot water.
