Facing the beachfront in Guayabas, Porã Chacahua features a private beach area and a bar. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Porã is a true jem in this hidden segment of Oaxaca. The staff was absolutely amazing, made me feel welcome in the Porã community right away. I highly recommend this place, and can almost guarantee you will end up extending your stay :)))

La Casona Hostel in Puerto Escondido provides adults-only accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace. Inviting staff, clean facilities and location offers a soothing hostel vibe near Centro. The hostel cats are also friendly and welcoming. Good vibes all around, I would absolutely book to stay here again!

Puerto Dreams H has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Puerto Escondido. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests. "Solomon" from the staff did an excellent job in making sure I felt at home and had a great time!

Casa Frutas y Verduras features an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Puerto Escondido. It was like a calm oasis in the heart of La Punta. The staff were so kind and helpful. We loved relaxing on the terrace between outings to the beach and our room was very comfortable.

Casa Antonio Mazunte features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Mazunte. The BEST hostel beds!!! I’ve been to so many hostels around the world, and this bed was incredible. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and you can actually get to know them. It was a very comfortable place to stay and worth it

Casa Lumaya is set in Brisas de Zicatela. The property is non-smoking and is located 400 metres from Zicatela Beach. At the hostel, every room has a desk. Location was great and Eva is the nicest!

Featuring a garden, shared lounge and views of sea, ElSueño Ocean view dorm & community vibe is located in Playa Agua Blanca, 100 metres from Agua Blanca Beach. The Waves are so near you hear themin your dreams. The Fruit Pancake Breakfast is 5 star. The place is special.

Boasting a garden, Tabachin del Puerto is situated in Brisas de Zicatela in the Oaxaca region, 500 metres from Zicatela Beach. The hostel has an outdoor swimming pool and a shared kitchen. Super close to the ocean, special place with it's own unique atmosphere. Friendly staff and quiet area. Has been used by many authors so there are books everywhere. Recommended for something out of the ordinary!

Ideally set in the centre of Oaxaca City, Hostal Nordés features free WiFi, a terrace and free private parking for guests who drive. Very close to Zocalo and markets, we liked the location. As well not so far to walk to Ado station through center. Good ventilation in the room, possible to get extra blankets, hot shower. Working wifi. There is a station in the lobby to refill your water bottle, some cookies and coffee. Also, no problem to leave backpacks after check-out. It stored safely in a separate locked room.
