Really enjoyed my stay at Kin, and even extended my stay by 3 nights to spend a week there. The tent I stayed in was perfect - comfortable for sleeping, with a fan, light and plug socket. They also have mosquito nets. The area is peaceful which allowed for great sleeping. All of the hostel staff and volunteers are very kind and work really hard to ensure the place is always really clean. Would highly recommend staying here when in Holbox!

The host was very helpful and always available. They have bikes for rental at 30 pesos ($1.6) per hour, so very decent pricing. The room was so spacious! Almost every hotel we stayed at had only HOT or COLD water, nothing in between. This was literally the only place that actually had warm water which was amazing! The hammock was so comfy that came with the bed. There was a shared kitchen with pots and pans, refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. She even had free water which most places did not have any. They had AC too which was lovely. It was also only a block or two from the ferry, super nice when we had to leave in the morning.

Finally a hostel that remembers the word "host" in its name. Many hostels have just turned into a pure money business and have forgotten their roots of existence. Ben and his team at Humanity truly host people as if you are inviting someone into your home. The place is clean, organized, relaxing, chill, and a home away from home. Also one of the only places that features a pool that is clean and taken care of. Some people are worried that the location is not central enough to the beach or tourist areas. That is actually a bonus. You live amongst the locals, shop and eat where locals do and visit places around you with only local prices and experiences. Of course one wants to experience the beaches with all its waterfront activities. You can easily get there by renting a bike from the hostel (10 min), walk there (35 min), or take a colectivo close by for 10 pesos (5 min) When you are done after a busy day, you can retrieve to the quiet tranquil comfort of Humanity. Bonus features include a 360 degrees open rooftop that allows you to watch sunrise and sunset over the jungle, with everything in between. You can plan your own days and nights, or you can join the daily activities the hostels offers. Each activity is fun but has a local community involvement which makes the experience even more authentic. Any questions you have about anything during your stay will gladly be answered for you to make your stay as stress free and comfortable. Employees were very friendly and professional .Location on the fifth avenue . Rooms were clean. Great view from the terraza.

HOM Hostel Boutique asub Playa del Carmenis, 1,1 km kaugusel Playa del Carmeni rannast ja 300 meetri kaugusel kesklinnast. Location is great! It was pretty quiet. There's stores and restaurants around. It's a low-key area with everything ones need. It was squeeky clean. I stayed 11 days and it was very comfortable. Everyone on the staff was helpful and chill. Most of the guests are older, respectful and friendly. Loved it
