TV, computer, WIFI, Washing Machine and Dryer, all centralised that you always had the opportunity to meet people.

Located in Semporna, Project X Scuba offers a shared lounge. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. What a beautiful place run by the most lovely Malays. The place is impeccably clean and super efficiently run. It is close to all ammenities and they can even book all the tours for you and will shortly be running their own scuba diving programs. I would highly recommend staying here if only just to experience Malay hospitality at it finest.

So clean, great facilities (hot water, washing machine, shared kitchen and dining area, slippers to walk around in). The highlight was the owner, he was SO KIND and friendly, always smiling, honestly one of the nicest guys we have come across travelling in Asia! He even sorted our laundry for us by splitting the load which he had no obligation to do. Little things like moving our trainers as the sun moved so they dried better. He's a gem and so is this place. 🫶🏽 very affordable too! You will feel at home here.

Located within 5.6 km of Filipino Market Sabah and 400 metres of North Borneo Railway, Dazzle Home Aeropod provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Tanjong Aru. Spacious & cozy room. Seems spotless, but there's a baby cockroach inside my room, still alive. Very hard to catch 😂

Homy Seafront Hostel is situated in Kota Kinabalu, within 3.6 km of Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village and 5.4 km of North Borneo Railway. This place EXCEEDED my expectations! Staff was so helpful with planning literally everything. Location was perfect - right on the water. Rooms were cozy and it felt like home.

Concrete Jungle Cabin is set in Kota Kinabalu, within 4.1 km of Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village and 5.2 km of Likas City Mosque. I would highly recommend this place, it's spotless, comfy beds, tea and coffee available all day, nice, simple, easy, lovely people to help out when needed

AeCOTEL Mingle Hostel is located in Sandakan. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and organising tours for guests. It was very central, everything on walking distance, check in was very smoothly. The bed is very comfortable and the rooms are clean and spacious. The host is always fast with answering any questions. I forgot my e-reader under the pillow and they went above and beyond with help! They did all the communication with DHL and send it overseas so I could get it back! Truly amazing guests service!

DZ Backpackers provides air-conditioned accommodation in Semporna. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. At the hostel, the rooms have a balcony. Absolutely amazing ! The location is great , near to the pier and surrounded by shops and places to eat ! You have a decent breakfast in the morning and a dispenser of hot/cold water to refill your bottle , that's great to avoid plastic ! The woman who runs the hostel is lovely and so kind , she's gonna help you with everything , the rest or the staff are great as well ! Bathroom are clean all the time , with soap and hot water ! Definitely the place to stay in Semporna !
