We had the private double room over the kitchen and it had everything we could have needed. It was quiet, clean, and one of the best places we’ve stayed on our CA trip so far. The host was lovely and friendly, laundry was done super quickly. One minor comment was that we would have loved it if the kitchen had a toaster and kettle.

An excellent eco place nestled in the woods. The greenery, fresh food with even more fresh ingredients from the backyard. The pizza night, people, staff, owner and so inspiring. Mushroom tour, yoga and so many real activities being run well. Could chill in the hammocks forever. Muchas gracias. The birds , permaculture and the fire show, unmissable. Besos.

The uniqueness of the hostel is unreal. The authenticity and the little bit of magic that is here makes this place an amazing stay! By far coolest hostel. Having a nice big kitchen and fire pit makes it feel like home. The animals and the fruit trees. The stories about each of the caravans. If your looking for a vibe this is it!

Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.
