Clean and friendly hostel with good kitchen, showers, laundry machine. Comfy beds, good pillows, amazing staff. We recommend a longer stay in Barentsburg to taste some of its vibe of humble, genuine, peaceful, friendly creativity in an amazing setting. We stayed one week, could easily have stayed longer. We will be back! Thank you!

Very equipped, kitchen (boiler, fridge. Dishwasher, oven and induction cooker). Very kind the attendant Sam. 5 minutes walk from the center street.

Gjestehuset 102 – your cozy home away from home in Longyearbyen. Warm, welcoming, and locally run, our small guesthouse is the perfect base for exploring Svalbard. This is my 2nd time here! The staff were so helpful as always. Special thanks to Angie and Khristin who made my stay as comfortable as possible. They serve breakfast in the morning and help you with booking expeditions outside of Longyearbyen! There is a kitchen with enough fridges and if you don’t feel like cooking there’s coal miners just one minute away! If you don’t feel like walking to the grocery store they have some commodities to sell at the reception! The showers were sooooo big it’s actually nice to relax after a day out! There’s a small area with couches to enjoy some peace away from the dorm :) Important note: it is NEVER cold in the dorms despite the very negative temperatures outside! I always like coming back here it’s like having a family in Svalbard

This hotel offers budget accommodation on the Arctic Ocean island of Svalbard. Communal facilities include a kitchen and TV lounge. Snowmobile safaris, dog sledding and glacier walks can be arranged. We had a very nice stay at Coal miners cabin! We stayed here for 6 nights. The rooms are good with comfortable beds. The staff is friendly. Very good breakfast, although it is the same every day. We will come back here next time on Svalbard
