Located within a few steps of Farallon Beach and 2.1 km of Santa Clara Beach, Hostal De Molen provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Cruce del Farallón. The owner was amazing and so friendly. Close to the beach. It has a private pool, and an attached restaurant. Very private as this is the only unit for rent. Also the listing says 2 twin beds but it is actually 2 queen beds in the same room.

Auxi and her family made us feel at home. They are very warm and friendly people. They live in a beautiful little village in the hills. Some lovely young people from the area went for a walk with us. Auxi cooked tasty food for us. We enjoyed the beautiful garden.

Location great. Hot showers were really nice. From our experience travelling around the world, you seldomly can get a hot shower in this price range.

Set in Penonomé, Hostal familiar Villa Nome features a shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi. There is a restaurant serving Cajun Creole cuisine, and free private parking is available. I have the greatest experience I could imagine. Very helpful and super nice lady. She did her best and more for us. The room was spacious and clean. So was the bathroom.

Very nicely equipped and clean apartment with private outdoor space with a hammock and beautiful garden area. Felt very welcome by the staff and enjoyed our stay very much ! Walking distance to the main strip in town with many restaurants and bakeries available . Wonderful, hiking trails close by .

Set in Playa Blanca, Acuarela Hostal offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Farallon Beach and offers various facilities, such as a garden and a terrace. Luz and her family were wonderful hosts. Luz speaks mostly Spanish, so if you don't, Google translate is your friend. She helped me with my Spanish. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, breakfast was eggs, toast, coffee, and fruit usually. One day she made Venezuelan arepa (flatbread). Lots of help with bus information and places to go. They accommodated a couple special requests. Wonderful back patio with hammocks, special lighting, and seating. Games for children. Highly recommend. Wifi was decent, but may not be up to digital nomad standards. Many restaurants and some grocery stores. May need to text owner you are here since gate is locked (WhatsApp +507 6200‑4371) Tip: If you arrive by bus to Rio Hato and take taxi/small bus to location, you may need to say Posada Acuarela, not Acuarela Hostel.

Hostal La Casa de Juan features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Valle de Anton. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. I loved staying here and wish I could have stayed longer. The staff were SO helpful, the vibe was friendly and relaxed, communal spaces lovely and comfortable, and the free bikes were the cherry on top. Would absolutely stay again.
