Right in the historic centre of picturesque Arequipa, Los Andes has rooms with free Wi-Fi only 30 metres from the main square. This is a luxury hostel compared to the other hostels in Arequipa -- modern, spacious, quiet, always clean, an excellent free brekkie, a good self-catering kitchen, and 1 min from the Cathedral. It's mostly younger couples and a few backpackers in the female dorms, so don't expect parties or pub crawls. And while most rooms are not ensuite, the shared baths are very nice.

Well located in the Historical Center district of Arequipa, Hostal Samakuy AQP is located 2.6 km from Yanahuara Church, 10 km from Sabandia Mill and 200 metres from Archaeological Museum of the... The owner Marco was very helpful, had laundry services and nice chulo Peruvian breakfast

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Posada Gloria is located in Tapay, 45 km from Colca Canyon. It was in a beautiful place, near the river colca, facing the mountains, everything was cozy and nice, the food was really good (we ate lunch, dinner and breakfast), the staff super friendly and the boss lady (i think it was Gloria herself) even upgraded our room to a better one, facing the mountains and with a private bathroom without any additional cost! Overall it’s worth staying here.

Located in Cabanaconde and with Colca Canyon reachable within 26 km, Cabanaconde Backpackers - Plaza de Armas provides a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Great little hostel, wifi only worked downstairs but it was a nice place for a night before the canyon. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast in the morning was great

We had a great time and can only recommend this place for future visits. 10 minutes to town, close to local busses and food options.

Located less than a block from Plaza de Armas, Maison verte - Guest House offers rooms with free Wi-Fi in Arequipa. Nice 2-nights stay in the guest house. No problem with the toilet outside the room - private, only 2-3 steps outside the room. Great communication with the staff. They prepared small breakfest to takeaway, when I went both the mornings to trip tours at 6 am. I could leave safely my baggages in the reception after check-out. Very close to Plaza de Armas. Many money exchanges with great rates just around the corner.
