The team were so kind, welcoming and helpful. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, with a cleaning team consistently on the go! The facilities are excellent. I would highly recommend a stay here.

The place is stunning, with modern and cutting-edge facilities that make you feel comfortable from the start. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The location is perfect, just steps away from Plaza de Armas, making it easy to explore Cusco on foot. The hostel’s bar is a highlight: a very social and cozy space with fun activities every night. The evening I learned how to make a pisco sour was particularly memorable. Plus, the café inside the hostel is excellent, perfect for starting your day with a great coffee. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Cusco. This is now my go-to stay at Cusco. Getting from Chile 🇨🇱

Rómulo and Helga were fantastic hosts: so warm, welcoming, and going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We ended up extending our stay here because we didn’t want to leave! Our room was awesome, nicely decorated, good natural light, with hot water bottles delivered each night to make our beds even cozier. Breakfast was avocado, toast and jam, and 2 eggs sunny side up. There was tea and hot water available all the times in the kitchen. Helga loves plants and the garden area right outside the kitchen was very beautiful and with lots of birds! My favorite thing about this place, besides the hosts, is that you can walk out the door and be in a lovely natural park-like setting where you can walk to many nearby archeological sites. Rómulo showed us around Temple of the Moon and gave us a very spirited tour, which was a highlight. It’s a really fun walk into town on the Inca Trail and down a pedestrian stairway lined with restaurants— even though it’s “far” from the city center, it’s actually a very nice walk to get into town, along peaceful paths with no cars! On the day we left, Rómulo drove us into town, along with 2 groups of other guests, and helped us exchange money, get an oil change, find the right entrance to a museum, etc. He took care of all of us and helped us along our way. Incredible hosting!

The hosts were very friendly and gave a very interesting coffee tour and tasting (for free!). The rooms were clean and simple. Beautiful yard. Dinner was decent (fish but I’m not a fish guy). Overall a highlight of our stay on the Salkantay.

The accommodation is extremely well maintained and beautifully set within restored historic walls right in the center of Cusco. I could walk everywhere which made exploring the city very easy. The check in process was flexible and smooth, and I received many excellent local recommendations that made my stay even better. The hosts were exceptionally attentive and friendly. They took real time to help with every question and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Casa Terra is a place with great character, comfort and warm hospitality. I would happily stay here again and can recommend it without hesitation.

The poetry night was such a unique experience, very open and creative. I also joined the breathwork session, which was powerful and left me feeling really calm and connected. A special place for trying new things and sharing with others.
