The Boutique Taghostel is located in a charming old building on the main avenue of Lagos directly in front of the marina with stunning sea views. Free WiFi is available. Location was the best. Staff were friendly & helpful. Especially liked the female dorm upstairs. Beds were not bunk beds, which is always nice. Showers had amazing water pressure & abundant hot water.

Featuring a garden, shared lounge, bar and free WiFi, Aldeia Caiçara Surf House is set in Sagres, 1.4 km from Tonel Beach and 16 km from Santo António Golf Course. First of all the staff. I had the pleasure of meeting Paula from Poland and Natalia from Brazil. They were ever so helpful and welcoming. The place, although geared mostly for surfers, is amazing. There is a certain vibe which makes one feel relaxed and friendly. There is everything one needs. My room had a desk, chair, closet, bedside tables with lamps, a tall mirror and towels. On the ground floor you have the reception, kitchen, more rooms, an outside area with hammocks, sofas, tables, a bar and sometimes music in the evenings.

Featuring a terrace, Hostel A Casa da Árvore is set in Faro in the Algarve region, 12 km from Church of São Lourenço and 26 km from Vilamoura Marina. Excellent central location- easy to get to all the sights and close to everything. Communal patio and kitchen are great! Super clean bathrooms - nice to have private bathrooms for each room. Host was super helpful with recommendations and requests.

Have a beautiful roof top and staff are really cool. They organise some walking tours too. Have many good restaurants near by hostel

Set in Raposeira, Hostel on the Hill has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Owner managed which always makes a difference. Everything I needed was there. Great vibe. A lot of wonderful people passing through that were hiking the Fisherman's Trail. Wonderful surf spots in the area just down the road.
